Warrior of the Week - Jan. 14

By Airman 1st Class Philip Bryant 11th Wing Public Affairs

Tech. Sgt. Dale Fogle, NCO in charge of command post training at the Joint Base Andrews Regional Command Post, is the Warrior of the Week for the week of Jan. 14, 2015.

Fogle is being recognized for managing the training program for command post personnel, who serve two MAJCOMs and four Wings. He also planned and directed monthly training meetings and task scenarios.

"It's nice to know someone saw your good work and said 'hey they need to be recognized'," said Fogle.

Fogle saved the Air Force $45,000 in temporary duty assignment costs for 15 command post controllers by reaching out to the Air Mobility Command Mobility Operation School at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and proposing a plan to bring two C2 course instructors to JBA.  He stands out at JBA because of his commitment toward bringing the course, required for all command post controllers assigned to AMC mission here, said Senior Master Sgt. Kristi Steck, superintendent, Joint Base Andrews Regional Command Post.

Fogle's innovative efforts met the 11th Wing and 89th Airlift Wing commanders' goal for positive control of the AMC CP mission while minimizing command post disruption and maximizing wing funds.
