By Senior Airman Nesha Humes 11th Wing Public Affairs

Staff Sgt. Holly Ward, 11th Security Support Squadron electronic security systems craftsman, is the Warrior of the Week for Oct. 15, 2014 at Joint Base Andrews, Md.

Ward is being recognized for taking immediate action to ensure one hundred percent effectiveness of multiple alarms with the Mental Health facility.

"I'm glad I'm able to make a noticeable impact that helps so many people in a positive way," Ward said.

Ward oversees 197 alarmed facilities in direct support of distinguished visitor and world leader movements. She conducts physical inspections of alarmed facilities and initiates the repair process for deficiencies to ensure compliance with Air Force directives.

Ward joined the Air Force in 2006 and has deployed three times. In March 2010, upon graduating Airman Leadership School she was awarded Distinguished Graduate and the Commandant Award.
