By Senior Airman Mariah Haddenham 11th Wing Public Affairs

Airman 1st Class Brandon Hearne, Honor Guard Color Flight ceremonial guardsman, is the Warrior of the Week for the week of Oct. 8, 2014 on Joint Base Andrews, Md.

As a member of Colors Flight, Hearne participated in 10 full-honor funerals and filled the roll of an NCO in charge of three Air Force color teams.

Hearne was also selected to be personal colors bearer for a ceremony honoring a prisoner of war that was missing in action. In addition, he volunteered more than 10 hours assisting a local animal shelter. His contribution saved the shelter approximately one thousand dollars. Finally, he created and led three Fit-to-Fight classes that aided in the squadron's 100 percent pass rate.
