JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. – The U.S. Air Force announced March 21 that several units here received Air Force level awards for their accomplishments.

Air Force District of Washington was awarded the Air Force Organizational Excellence award for the time period of Jan. 1, 2011 to Dec. 31, 2012.

The 11th Wing was awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for the time period of Jan. 1, 2011 to Dec.31 2012.

The 79th Medical Wing was awarded the AFOUA for the time period of Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2012.

The 844th Communication Group was awarded the AFOUA for the time period of Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2012.

Congratulations to these organizations and members, who have clearly set themselves apart.
