459th Airmen 'Fuel the Fight' in Afghanistan

Airmen from the 756th Air Refueling Squadron here, part of the 459th Air Refueling Wing, epitomized total force integration as they topped off the tanks of Navy F/A-18E Hornets in the skies above Afghanistan on Sept. 4.

These Air Force reservists are assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron while deployed,and fly KC-135 Stratotankers in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The Hornets are based on aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman (CVN 68).
