AFGHANISTAN – Airmen from the 756th Air Refueling Squadron here, part of the 459th Air Refueling Wing, epitomized total force integration as they topped off the tanks of Navy F/A-18E Hornets in the skies above Afghanistan on Sept. 4.

These Air Force reservists are assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron while deployed,and fly KC-135 Stratotankers in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The Hornets are based on aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman (CVN 68).
