Blessing the heli

Capt. Sarah Morris, 11th Wing chaplain, blessed a UH-1N Huey on the flightline at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Aug. 31, 2016.

Chaplains bless aircraft with hopes to keep Airmen and aircraft safe through their time in service.

The 1st HS is the U.S. Air Force's largest helicopter squadron, conducting high-priority airlift missions in the National Capitol Region and maintaining the capability to provide defense support to civilian authorities in the event of a disaster.
