Submerged training

Flight crew members from the National Capital Region take part in Water Survival Training and Helicopter Emergency Egress Device Training at Prince George’s Community College’s Robert I. Bickford Natatorium in Largo, Md., Oct. 27 and 28, 2016.

The Water Survival Training, lead by 89th Operations Support Squadron survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialists, equips these Airmen with the knowledge and confidence needed to survive in an open ocean environment using the equipment onboard their aircraft.
