Radio-controlled aircraft offer indoor break for 2012 Joint Service Open House patrons
A member of Radio Active Aishows aerial demonstration team showcases a remote for his radio-controlled foam aircraft May 18. Remotes such as these are able to store flying information for more than five radio-controlled aircraft at one time. Patrons to the 2012 Joint Service Open House and Air Show are encouraged to stop by Hangar 3 on the Joint Base Andrews flightline and view radio-controlled aircraft displays controlled by remotes such as these. This year's JSOH celebrates the Centennial of Marine Corps Aviation. JSOH affords the public an opportunity to meet the men and women of the Armed Forces while seeing over 100 static displays and 19 aerial demonstration teams May 18-20 at Joint Base Andrews, Md.
