Air Force District of Washington Commander Maj. Gen. Darren W. McDew tours the Center for National Response facility March 28 in Gallagher W. Va. The training center is housed in a half-mile long tunnel which has a wide assortment of training areas, including a post office, rail station, Afghanistan tunnel replica, rubble room and a metro rail car. The training center was called one of the best training venues available for emergency management career fields by civil engineer squadron emergency management officials.
