EAGLE FLAG
Senior Airman Jason Brown, a public affairs staff writer from the 633rd Air Base Wing at Joint Base Langley Eustis, and 2nd Lt. Mark Flannery, a public affairs officer from "The Chief's Own" 11th Wing at Joint Base Andrews, take cover and guard a door during a simulated attack during "Operation EAGLE FLAG." The exercise is designed to provide U.S. forces with an environment to test the knowledge and skills required for any type of forward operation, in any condition, regardless of mission or aircraft type. The tandem made up the 421st Air Expeditionary Group public affairs team and provided a full complement of public affairs products in support of the exercise, earning recognition and praise from their leadership and the staff from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst's Expeditionary Operations Center cadre and evaluation team.
