Boy Scouts from around the Detroit region were able to camp at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., for two nights during the 2011 Selfridge Air Show and Open House, Aug. 20-21, 2011. While at the show, the Scouts worked on their aviation merit badge and met with cadets from the U.S. Air Force Academy. The Scouts also provided a variety of volunteer assistance to show organizers, such as helping to pass out wristbands to show visitors.
