The 89th Aerial Port Squadron here paired up with a March AFB C-17 team during the Engines Running On/Offload competition during the 2011 Air Mobility Command Rodeo Competition which took place at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. from July 24-29. The 89th Aerial Port Squadron conducted a cargo on/offload which simulated a cargo drop occurring in the Area of Respnsibility. Teams were required to on/offload a HMMWV (Humvee) with an attached trailer and a 25-ton Next Generation Small Loader (NGSL).
