A sea of Air Force blue participate in AFAF Fun Run
More than 800 combined Air Force District Washington, 11th Wing, 79th Medical Wing and 844th Communications Group Airmen and civilians participated in a two-mile fun run to kickoff the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign March 15. The AFAF was created to provide for charities that support Air Force families, including servicemembers, retirees, dependents and surviving spouses. The fund aids four charitable organizations: the Air Force Villages Foundation, the Air Force Enlisted Village, the Air Force Aid Society and The General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation.
