ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- Airman 1ST Class Parker Nicks, 89th Communications Squadron Global Network Operations Center systems analyst, adjusts bandwidth for a video teleconference between an airborne distinguished visitor and another senior government official inside the GNOC hub Jan. 12. The 89 CS utilizes a high frequency global communications system to provide rapid, reliable, non-dedicated secure, non-secure voice or data communications support to the president, cabinet members, DoD agencies, aircraft, and U.S ships during peacetime, contingency operations and war.
