Dalphine Wiley, Commissary produce department work leader, hands out apple slices to several children from Child Development Center I, at the Andrews Commissary Nov. 18. The Defense Commissary Agency sponsored the event in observance of first lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign. The DECA is taking a community approach in the fight against childhood obesity by educating the children about proper healthy snacks and portion control during meal time. The event also aimed at offering the children healthier food choices and introducing them to an exercise regimen.
