JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- Keith Schiesser and Henry Rozario, transient alert mechanics for the 89th Maintenance Group, remove parking chocks as part of the process to launch an aircraft, Aug. 19. Transient alert is responsible for safely marshalling, parking and servicing all aircraft arriving at Joint Base Andrews, which are not permanently stationed here. The TA team is also a major player in the planning and execution of events such as the Joint Services Open House and other high visibility events, which draw national and international attention.
