Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride cycles through Andrews
The first wave of wounded warrior cyclists receive cheers of encouragement as they roll past an audience of Joint Base Andrews, Md., members during the Wounded Warrior Ride. More than 30 veterans from around the country who have been injured in combat biked from Andrews to Annapolis, Md., on April 30, 2010. This was the second time The Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride has stopped at Andrews. The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the needs of veterans injured in combat. (U.S. Air Force photo by Bobby Jones)
