Honor Flight brings Vets to Washington DC
Maj. Gen. Darrell Jones, Air Force District of Washington commander, and other military members throughout the National Capital region salute WWII veterans as they depart from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Va. April 28, 2010. 87 World War II veterans are here to visit the WWII memorial for the first time. The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America's veterans by transporting them to Washington, D.C. for free to visit and reflect at the WWII memorials.
