4-H Club kids surprised by science
A group of Andrews 4-H Club members are amazed as water transforms a super absorbent polymer into instant snow during a science experiment in the science and animal room at the Youth Center at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Feb. 1, 2010. The 4-H Club members, known as Spartans, are part of the 4-H Club organization, which meets the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. The club is open to youth and teens, ages six through 18, educates children through “learning by doing” experiences and encourages them to experiment, invent and think independently.
