316 CES team combats record snow storm
A couple of 316th Civil Engineer Squadron heavy equipment vehicles clear the remaining snow and ice left from a record snow storm, which hit the National Capital Region Dec. 17., on the Eastside Navy runway Tuesday morning. The 316 CES deployed 30-member teams to work 12-hours shifts for the first seven days after the initial blizzard. The combined 316 CES team of 75 members maintained equipment inside the Snow Barn as their coworkers cleared the 19-inches of snowfall from approximately 92,000,000 square feet of flightline real estate.
