SANTA, MRS. CLAUS VISIT ANDREWS FOR PARENTS, CHILDREN FIGHTING CANCER PARTY
Santa, Mrs. Claus and several of Santa’s helpers, arrive at Joint Base Andrews for the Parents and Children Fighting Cancer Christmas Party via a 99th Airlift Squadron C-20B aircraft on the first snow day of the year, Dec. 5. The Claus family, who received a warm welcome from a large audience of military members and their families inside Hangar 3, came here to co-host the annual party with members of the Fisher House. The holiday event, which included face painting; a magician; 316th Civil Engineer Squadron fire truck and explosive ordnance disposal displays; 316th Security Forces Squadron Redman padded suit presentation; and 1st Helicopter Squadron static display, helped ensure the children of military members from the National Capital Region received a morale boost for the holiday season.
