Airman receives Legion of Merit
Col. Margaret Woodward, 89th Airlift Wing commander, presents an award citation after pining a Legion of Merit Medal to the collar of Senior Airman Joseph Vasquez. Airman Vasquez is assigned to the 89th Communications Squadron as a radio operator. The Legion of Merit is an award, which is given for service rendered in a clearly exceptional manner.
