Maj. Gen. Ralph Jodice, Air Force District of Washington commander, has been nominated to the Senate for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general. General Jodice spent 14 months at the helm of the Air Force District of Washington. He will take his next assignment as a joint NATO commander in Izmir, Turkey in December, 2009.
