SERE training provides serious water survival skills
Members of the 1st Airlift Squadron and 99th Airlift Squadron take part in a water survival exercise to refresh their Survival, Evasion, Rescue and Escape, or SERE, training they learned at Fairchild AFB, Wash., at the base pool recently. Andrews SERE instructors strive to create real-life SERE situations by utilizing high pressure fire hoses to simulate powerful rain. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Airman 1st Class Melissa Rodrigues)
