General Malcolm C. Grow Remembered

On Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 12:30, Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center held a 127th birthday celebration to remember General Malcolm C. Grow who the medical facility is named for. The celebration was held in the main entrance, near the Malcolm Grow showcase. General Grow was the first surgeon general of the U.S. Air Force (July 1, 1949 - Nov. 30, 1949). Airman First Class Kelly Hecker, the youngest Airman present and Colonel Jay Cloutier, the oldest Airmen present cut the cake. (AF Photo by Master Sgt. Aimee Klarmann)
