West Nile Virus identified in mosquitos at Joint Base Andrews
Mosquitos have been identified as being infected with the West Nile Virus in samples of water taken at Joint Base Andrews. In the event a person does develop symptoms, they should report to the nearest emergency room. West Nile Virus is a potentially serious illness caused by the bite of an infected mosquito. Symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, joint pains, vomiting, diarrhea, or rash.
