Approximately 60 attendees stood up, raised their hands, and took a pledge to fight breast cancer at a Breast Cancer Awareness event on Oct. 16 at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center. The purpose of the event was to help educate patients and staff about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and prevention and to offer comfort and support to those diagnosed or undergoing treatment.
