Sedum ewersii is one of the varieties of succulent plants featured on the green roofs of the William A. Jones III building and the Air National Guard Readiness Center on Joint Base Andrews, Md. The environmentally friendly roofs reduce building energy use and contribute to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification.
