JBA honors child as ‘Pilot for a Day’
Kwami Penty and his family walk through a 1st Helicopter Squadron hangar as part of the “Pilot for a Day” program at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Oct. 6, 2016. Visiting the helicopter unit was one of many activities hosted in honor of Kwami, who is being treated for a serious illness at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. In addition to touring the inside of a UH-1 Iroquois, Kwami was surprised with a detail of his name printed on the aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Jordyn Fetter)
