JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. - Joint Base Andrews military spouses listen to a historical briefing by Mattea Sanders, 316th Wing historian, about the Helicopter Operations Facility during the “Windshield Tour” on JBA, Oct. 23, 2020. Sanders delved into the history of the 1st Helicopter Squadron and its supporting role in the Vietnam War and the 1979 Three Mile Island accident. The brief emphasized the long and broad history of the squadrons to current day JBA.
