316th MDG learns about casualty care for military working dogs
U.S. Army Capt. Alex Kazernouri, course instructor and veterinarian at Ft. Belvoir, Va., briefs 316th Medical Group members about military working dog catheter insertion techniques during a Canine Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course, an annual training course designed to teach medical professionals how to aid wounded MWDs in deployed conditions, at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Nov. 12, 2020. A catheter quickly administers fluids or medications during an emergency.
