The 316th Civil Engineer Squadron provides final touches on a 6-month long taxiway repair at Joint Base Andrews, Dec. 3, 2021. All in all, the concrete pouring process took 18 vehicles, 20 personnel and approximately 180 cubic yards of concrete. Projects like this can take one to two years to complete on Air Force installations, and the 316 CES completed it in only six months from the discovery of the sinkhole.
