Air Force, Army Team Up for Counter-Drone Testing at Joint Base
The U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and Federal Aviation Administration conducted a joint test of DJI Air 2 drone at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, March 19, 2026. Drone operators from the U.S. Army Unmanned Aerial Systems Mission Assurance team, operating under the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center, launched drones to test the base’s c-UAS technology and gather data.
