Take command: Urgent care now easier to access
January 1, 2018 — As of Jan. 1, 2018, most TRICARE Prime enrollees no longer need a referral for urgent care visits and point-of-service charges no longer apply for urgent care claims. October 12, 2017 — Starting Jan. 1, 2018, cost changes for TRICARE benefits transition from a fiscal year period to a calendar year period.
