JBA mission continues while supporting statewide stay-at-home order
JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md —
Joint Base Andrews’ response to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) remains in compliance with federal regulations and supports Maryland and Virginia governors’ statewide stay-at-home orders that will take effect today.
“Since declaring a public health emergency and shifting to Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Charlie, we have made significant adjustments to the way we do business,” said Col. Andrew Purath, 11th Wing and JBA commander. “All of the installation measures we have in place support the new executive orders that limit movement to essential trips.”
