Former 1HS Airman laid to rest at Arlington

The mother of Tech. Sgt. Dale Mathews is handed a flag in honor of his service during his funeral at Arlington National Cemetery, Va., on Feb 5, 2014. Service members celebrate first quarter birthdays

The meal celebrated the birthdays of service members grade E-6 and below that were born between the months of January to March. Puranen Stands Out Amongst His Peers

Airman 1st class Brian Puranen, 11th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintenance apprentice, has been recognized as this week's Warrior of the Week here on Feb. 19, 2014. Puranen overhauled a crash fire truck and rear axel units in seven hours as opposed to the normal 12, as well as performed triage maintenance on a snow broom returning the vehicle to service in six hours and restored 25 percent of snow removal capabilities.
