Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James Roy speaks with the enlisted force of Joint Base Andrews Naval Air Facility Washington Wednesday.  Chief Roy and his wife, Paula, spent the day visiting a variety of squadrons on Andrews to speak with Airmen personally about his missions and goals as chief master sergeant of the Air Force.  Chief Roy took time to respond to concerns from the enlisted corps ranging from the new physical training requirements to deployment taskings and the enlisted performance reports. The event signified the unification of Andrews Air Force Base and Naval Air Facility Washington, and renamed the installation as Joint Base Andrews Naval Air Facility Washington. Among the official guests in attendance were Maj. Gen. Ralph J. Jodice II, Air Force District of Washington commander, Rear. Adm. Julius S. Caesar, Navy Installation Command Reserve deputy commander, and Navy Capt. Catherine Hanft, Naval Support Activity South Potomac commanding officer.
