Hometown?

Arlington, Texas

Why do you serve?

I joined in order to travel, gain valuable experience that I wouldn’t gain anywhere else, while getting an education.  Also, to be an example to those within my community.

How does your job impact the wing’s mission?

My job helps provide chemical warfare readiness and survivability to service members. Due to continuous threats to homeland security, my job enables proficiency and confidence in MOPP gear use and enables mission continuation and force survivability. It also allows mission comprehension and contingency on how to respond to CBRN and HAZMAT situations.

What is the coolest thing you've done in the military?

The coolest thing has been meeting thousands of people throughout the National Capital Region. This area is great for networking, gaining credibility, and creating friendships. It’s allowed me to take helicopter flights over the NCR, gain recognition at the Pentagon, as well as help with future career development.
