El Paso, Texas
Why do you serve?
I tried school but didn’t like it and I didn’t want to be stuck doing nothing so I joined the Air Force to become more disciplined and better myself.
How does your job impact the wing’s mission?
I make sure our member’s at the Banholzer clinic get scheduled for their PHAs. I make sure flyers get audiograms done which leads to a green IMR which means fit to fight.
What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?
I love Andrews, but I think Misawa was my favorite because Japan is such a nice country with a lot to do.
What is your dream assignment and why?
Somewhere in Arizona because I like the dry heat and there’s a lot of sport teams there. Also it is right between El Paso and California and not too far from Vegas.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve done in the military?
Working at the Pentagon was pretty cool since there was a lot of things to do and cover.
What Hobbies do you have/what do you do in your spare time?
I got back into working out recently and will be starting school soon.
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your life?
Losing my grandpa on my 6th week in basic training was tough since we were close.
