Why did you decide to serve in the military?
I joined the military to further my education.
How do you think your job impacts the wing’s mission?
My job’s impact is two-fold (day to day patient care and Readiness) the focus is on compliance and proficiency ensuring training for all AFSCs in the Medical group as well as keeping the members of our team ready for deployment.
What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?
My favorite TDY was C-STARS in Baltimore where I worked and trained in shock trauma for a few weeks. This experience impacted my decision to pursue trauma nursing.
What is your dream assignment and why?
Anywhere overseas, I want to experience different cultures around the world.
What's the coolest thing you’ve done in the military?
I was able to scrub in on a surgery case at my last base. They were removing the plaque off of the femoral arteries and I was able to touch it.
What hobbies do you have/what do you do in your spare time?
Anything outdoors with my dog.
Biggest challenge you’ve faced in your life?
The biggest challenge I’ve faced is when my car breaks down, I can’t call my dad to come fix it anymore.
