Why are they being recognized? Airman Maginnis is a top office performer, having executed more than 100 inspections which ensured the aircraft recovery mission was completed successfully. Airman Maginnis also took the lead on a BAK-14 system leak, having not only repaired damaged equipment but also replacing faulty air cylinders. In doing so, Airman Maginnis alleviated potential aircraft rollover hazards and secured the safety and security of himself and his fellow wingmen.
Airman Maginnis also found and replaced a BAK-12's faulty solenoid starter. He enhanced equipment reliability, mitigated emergency outages and was a key operations team member. He attained a 100% completion rate on essential unit tasks, which exceeded Air Force standards by 20 percent.
Lastly, Airman Maginnis is a career-focused Airman. He completed his final Career Development Course volume set within 5 months and passed a 95 percent average.
