ANDREWS AFB, Md. –
The 744th Communications Squadron is replacing the Project, Workflow, Requirements/Resource system with the new Web Site System beginning July 1. WSS is an electronic submittal process for Air Force Form 3215, Communication System Requirements Document.
Anyone can start the process through WSS. Once submitted, requests automatically route through the unit Telephone Control Officers for computer, software and network requirements or unit Personal Wireless Communication System managers for cell phones, blackberries and air card requirements.
The new form is located online at
https://www.afncr.hq.af.mil/Login/index.cfm?fwa=loginform.
Time frames for implementation of communication requirements due to an increase in the number of customers. Current time frames are between 45-60 days for a routine request to include phone and network installation, relocations and activations and six to 12 months for non-routine requirements, such as large scale projects, infrastructure upgrades, new software approval, and classified system installations.
For construction projects submitted to the 316th Civil Engineering Squadron, a WSS submittal must accompany any AF Form 332 with communication requirements and include an integrated planning toolset log ID, AF 332 numbers, a knowledgeable point of contact and the CSRD WSS number.
An issue with existing service does not require a CSRD. For those types of issues, call the help desk at 301-981-2300 to submit a trouble ticket.
