ANDREWS AFB, Md. –
Air Force military members who think Club membership recalls 'days of yore' may not be fully aware of the membership benefits.
"There are many benefits," said Samuel T. Sisco, The Club at Andrews general manager. "We offer reciprocal privileges at Air Force clubs worldwide. Whether our members are deployed, TDY, on vacation, or moving, their membership is welcome in any Air Force club."
Another perk is the 'members only programs' such as the popular Texas Hold'Em. "We were maxed out to capacity for that particular event and even had to turn people away," said Mr. Sisco. "We're set to have another Texas Hold'Em on Nov. 18."
Current and new members need to know about recent changes in payment options. "In the past, members could make payments over the phone with no charge," said Mr. Sisco. "The bank is now charging $9.95 for automated payment over the phone. We want our members to be aware of that change."
Mr. Sisco explained that members have three other options for payment. "You can continue to pay at the Club, via the internet at www.chase.com or through the U.S. mail."
