Leigh Thornley directs the Andrews Home Educators Choir in singing "Joy to the World" during their debut at the Annual Base Holiday Tree and Menorah lighting ceremony at Chapel 1, Dec. 5. Andrews families were also treated with food, refreshments and performances by the Andrews Gospel Youth Chorus and the U.S. Air Force "Airmen of Note" combination band. The entry from the 1st Helicopter Squadron for the Holiday Card Contest consisted of Santa Claus drawn by UH-1N huey's. The 316th Wing Chapel sponsored the contest for ANdrews. There were 11 entries and all can be seen on display on the Chapel 1 lawn. 316th Logistics Readiness Squadron was named the 1st place winner of the contest. Second place was the 457th Airlift Squadron, 3rd place was the 316th Operations suport Squadron and Honorable Mention was given to the 79th Dental Squadron. (US Air Force/TSgt Jason Edwards)
