WASHINGTON, D.C. –
The following NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC was published by National Capital Parks-East, National Park Service on August 11:
At the request of the US Air Force (USAF), the National Park Service is imposing a temporary closure of the Suitland Parkway, from Forestville Road to MD-4 Pennsylvania Avenue, during the Joint Base Andrews Air Show. The closures are anticipated to occur during the following approximate times:

Thursday, September 11 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Friday, September 12 from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

Saturday, September 13 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Sunday, September 14 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Violation is prohibited. A map illustrating the closed park areas is attached.
Persons using these park areas should remove themselves and any personal property in violation of the above closures and public use limitations from the closed park areas prior to the above closure times and in accordance with the direction of US Park Police.
