JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –
Each July and August, there is usually a rush to get sports physicals accomplished. Additionally, if your child has already had a physical in the last year, his/her Primary Care Manager (PCM) can complete the paperwork if you drop the form off at the office.
"We want to remind parents that physicals are good for 365 days so they don't have to wait," said Maj. Meredith Sarda, flight commander of the Pediatric Clinic at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center (MGMCSC).
Parents should take their children to see their PCM annually to ensure normal growth and development. While at the clinic, their child's PCM will complete the paperwork for school and/or sports physicals if requested.
Also, remember to bring appropriate forms such as immunization records, school forms, sports participation forms, and glasses (if applicable). We recommend wearing loose fitting clothes.
