JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –
In preparation for the 2015 JBA Air Show flight activity and noise will increase from Sept. 16-19.
Residents and visitors to the local area may notice low flying aircraft or hear additional flight noise during the arrival of aircraft during rehearsals for, and leading up to, the air show.
The public is encouraged to come to JBA and take part in the celebration, which is free and open to the public, on Saturday, Sept. 19. The air show will cap off the United States Air Force 68th Birthday Week.
Attendees will have the chance to see the USAF Thunderbirds, the F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team and The U.S. Special Operations Command jump team Para-Commandos and more.
Gates to the 2015 JBA Air Show open at 9 a.m. Public parking will be located at Fed Ex Field and Branch Avenue Metro Station. Free shuttles service will be provided from these locations from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
