JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –
An Airman assigned to the 744th Communications Squadron was found unresponsive in his dorm room here, and was later pronounced dead upon arrival at the on-base Emergent Care Center at approximately midnight last night.
"The 744th Communications Squadron, and all of Team Andrews are hurting after this tragic loss of life," said Col. Bill Knight, 11th Wing/Joint Base Andrews commander. "Our thoughts and prayers are with family, friends and coworkers. Our Air Force is a family, and they will not go through this alone."

The cause of death is currently under investigation, and the name of the Airman is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
