Members of The U.S. Air Force Concert Band performed with The Three Cantors during the National Menorah Lighting at The Ellipse in Washington, D.C., Nov. 27.
Rabbi Levi Shemtov, Hon. Michael Froman and Rabbi Abraham Shemtov light a giant menorah to mark the first night of Hanukkah, during the National Menorah Lighting at The Ellipse.
Shemtov is the executive vice president of American Friend of Lubavitch (Chabad), Froman works for the United States Trade Representative and Abraham Shemtov is the chairman, Executive Committee International Chabad Lubavitch Movement.
Grammy Award-winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari, a Jewish-Israeli born composer and producer is recognized as a musical pioneer for her fusion of classical style with jazz, R&B, and hip-hop, also performed and dedicated her performance to all the Jewish people around the world.
One additional candle will be lit each night through Dec. 5 to conclude the eight-day Jewish Holiday.
