JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –

U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Neil R. Richardson recently toured Joint Base Andrews as part of his immersion as the new Air Force District of Washington commander. During the tour Richardson met with the 844th Communications Group, 744th Communications Squadron and other units on the installation.

Immersions enable incoming commanders to directly engage with wings and units, evaluate their capabilities and get a better understanding of the diverse mission at Joint Base Andrews.
